This session will be an interactive session in which difficult cases will be presented by the faculty followed by options for management. The faculty will then provide the consensus correct answer with supporting data from the literature. It will also be important to share opinions as it relates to other potential treatment options. At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to do the following: 1. Describe which patients require adjuvant radiation therapy for common GI malignancies. 2.Define the ways in which to best combine radiation therapy with chemotherapy for a variety of GI malignancies. 3. Review current literature in support of the treatment strategies proposed.
