This session will describe the rationale for SBRT, the methods for its implementation, and review the growing clinical evidence on the efficacy of strereotactic treatment for certain indications, as well as remaining questions and the basis for ongoing investigations. At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to do the following: 1. Discuss SBRT treatment planning. 2. Describe SBRT image guidance. 3. Describe results from early SBRT clinical trials and basis for ongoing investigations.
