This course will provide a general overview and update on the management of cervical cancer, with a special emphasis on external beam and brachytherapy techniques. At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to do the following: 1. Discuss indications and techniques for external beam radiation with concurrent chemotherapy, including tumor and treatment variables which impact on outcome. 2. Discuss indications and techniques for brachytherapy, including high dose rate and low dose rate. 3. Discuss new advances in technology and treatments for cervical cancer.
