Description
Objective, web-based measurement of social and cognitive functioning can facilitate effective referral, assessment, treatment and return to work. This presentation explores the application of the WebNeuro assessment to the management referral process. This assessment is based on valid and reliable neuropsychological tests, standardized against a global population and administered through a web-based application. Initial testing delineates strengths and weaknesses. Specific profiles will be presented to show how this can inform treatment, provide evidence of treatment efficacy and return to work. Implementation and developing research will be presented along with user comments on usefulness and value enhancement.

Objectives:
• describe how the assessment provides treatment decision support;
• state three reasons for the importance of objective standardized measurement in the management referral process;
• describe some basic profiles of cognitive and social functioning.
