How can a plan for a statewide teacher training system in gifted education take advantage of the new technologies that are available? This session presents an overview of a 3 tiered comprehensive approach used in Florida that provides online training and certification to teachers at the state level, through the Working on Gifted Issues Project, at school district levels that build on Florida State Training Modules for local relevance, and at university levels that can be incorporated into a graduate Master’s Degree with a specialization in Gifted Education.
