With growing emphasis on infection prevention practices and standards, Infection Preventionists must understand current controversies in infection prevention and how to critique and evaluate published literature. This session will review several controversial topics and highlight limitations in the literature including bias, limitations of study design, and common errors made in interpretation of literature.;Objectives: • List various types of bias found in study designs • State common misinterpretations and misperceptions of medical literature
