An alarming trend is emerging among MDRGN bacteria. These bacteria present a public health crisis that demands urgent attention and intervention. The presenter will address the epidemiology, risk factors, and strategies to prevent the spread of MDRGN Bacteria.;Objectives: Objectives: • Describe the changing epidemiology of MDRGN bacterial pathogens • Recognize factors that contribute to gram-negative bacterial resistance and associated mortality. • Compare and contrast differences with MDRGN bacteria with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) • List methods to reduce the emergence and spread of multi-drug resistant gram-negative bacterial.
