This session will showcase the Infection Prevention and Quality improvement collaboration in the San Francisco Bay Area. This session is intended for practitioners interested in infection prevention and 'beyond' including general patient safety initiatives such as medication safety and prevention of other adverse events. The audience will participate in an exercise designed to demonstrate process improvement.;Objectives: • Demonstrate the power of teamwork and collaboration to achieve a 'zero zone' VAP and CL-BSI rate • Employ techniques designed to teach process improvement as it relates to infection prevention and patient safety • Discuss methodologies designed to promote spread and sustainability throughout a geographic collaborative • Illustrate how peer-to-peer learning accelerates performance improvement
