Description
Metrics are not new but their use within the clinical trial industry is rapidly expanding. They can be used to help us improve clinical trial performance, establish operational benchmarks for performance, create a balanced scorecard that monitors not just trial performance, but also financial metrics, customer satisfaction, quality and organizational growth and performance. We can, of course, use these metrics to focus activities to improve on whatever is being measured.

This symposium will focus on clinical trial management, with the speakers describing how metrics have been defined, implemented and used within their organizations. This will include how to focus on the right metrics and not be overwhelmed by measuring everything, how to assess industry benchmarks and incorporate them into your organization, and ensure that best practice for the implementation and display of metrics is applied.
