Description
Explores the major social websites and their applicability for follow-up through in-home print contacts. By discovering how to link social media demographics with in-home media, attendees will learn how to extend the personal experience in a non-invasive and gently interruptive way. Today's marketing conversation begins from the consumer point of view and must continue in that same manner or is at risk of being rejected. Social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Truveo, MetaCafe, Flicker, Friendfeed, Vimeo and YouTube are explored for types of usage and consumer bonding opportunities. Print innovations and techniques are explained in light of their ability to continue a conversation in the personal manner of social sites, and also to prompt interactivity via those same sites and thus expand the circle. Media explored will be catalogs, custom publications, social networking, microsites, direct mail and samples.

LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • Learn how to better surround a social media contact with print media.
  • See case studies, integrating direct mail & samples with social media
  • View key differentiators that print can add to a customer relationship
