The world has gone digital and so to is the future of marketing. According to a recent Forrester Research report, Interactive marketing will near $55 billion and represent 21% of all marketing spend by 2014. Several key shifts are underway including the shift from traditional to digital marketing, the shift to cross-channel integrated marketing and the shift to cross-device marketing. with the emergence of Mobile, Social, digital Signage, interactive set top boxes, Interactive TV, adver-gaming and place-based marketing the rules are changing. Even within the Digital Media space the ground is shifting as display ads morph into web 2.0 apps & widgets or become micro-shopping carts or content syndiaction channels. This session will bring you the latest case studies and techniques to navigate and succeed in these New Digital Media waters. As marketers shift dollars away from traditional media and toward search marketing, display advertising, email marketing, social media, and mobile marketing it will cause a cannibalization of traditional media which will bring about shifts in overall advertising budgets, death to obsolete agencies, and a publisher awakening to entirely new content and marketing models. We will explore the leading edge of Emerging Channels in this one hour session.
