Description
Gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender (GLBT) students preparing for entry into the work force face career planning challenges related to their sexual orientation. GLBT students often find that university life has been a supportive environment, with many colleges offering GLBT resources and nondiscrimination policies. The workplace can be quite different. For some GLBT students, sexual orientation is an integral part of their identity while others prefer a separation between their personal and professional lives. Explore how you can help these students make the transition from college to the work force.
