Description
A learning portfolio can be an effective mechanism for facilitating student reflection and assessing and documenting student learning outcomes as they align with institutional priorities. They are particularly valuable for illustrating student learning across a wide array of professional development activities and work experiences. Get an overview of the cooperative education program at the University of Windsor, where there is a particular emphasis on the use of a learning portfolio. Explore the relationship between the components of the learning portfolio and desired learning outcomes, and examine the reflective elements in detail. Pick up a rubric for portfolio assessment that can be used to document the achievement of learning outcomes.
