Description
This intermediate/advanced workshop focuses on data-based decision making within an RTI framework. Specifically, participants will be expected to learn (a) strategies for using multiple sources of data to identify which students are the focus of tiered intervention, (b) the difference between using data to allocate resources and to evaluate programs, and (c) methods for continuous evaluation of the decision-making progress. The instructional strategies that used will include a PowerPoint presentation, discussion, and small-group activities. Each of these instructional strategies use both fictitious scenarios and real-world experiences of the presenters. This workshop is applicable to all grade levels.
