Description
The most critical step in the implementation of RTI at the building or district level (or both) is the development of consensus. Until consensus is achieved, successful implementation will not occur. This workshop focuses on the use of effective strategies to achieve consensus and school or district structures that facilitate the development of consensus. Through guided group activities, participants will develop a written blueprint to achieve consensus at the building or district level.

Participants will achieve the following learning outcomes:
• an understanding of evidence-based strategies to achieve consensus,
• an understanding of barriers to development of consensus, and
• skills in the development of a consensus implementation and evaluation plan.

This workshop is relevant for pre-K through high school.
