Description
Through a lecture format that incorporates case study elements, this presentation offers an in-depth discussion of interventions designed to assist students in grades K–12 who exhibit executive function difficulties. Participants will be able to (a) describe interventions that range from techniques that apply externally imposed controls to methods that facilitate internally cued self-regulation, (b) generate Individualized Education Program goals for addressing executive function difficulties, and (c) describe techniques that can be used to assess the effectiveness of intervention efforts.
