Description
This workshop addresses selected legal issues affecting school psychology. It assists school psychologists in avoiding problems in Child Find, evaluation and eligibility, predetermination, the use of service animals, restraint and seclusion, and early identification of autism. For medical and related service providers, it addresses credibility determinations, test protocols, and revocation of parental consent, among other hot issues. This workshop targets preschool, elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
