Description
This session introduces new methods for providing comprehensive psychoeducational assessment for students from diverse language, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds. Systems-based, ecological assessment is outlined and discussed as a legally defensible form of assessment that is rooted in the ecological-transactional theory of child development. Session attendees are provided with user-friendly techniques, tools, and templates for completing systems-based, ecologically valid assessments for students with various presenting problems.
