This session will review risk assessment techniques to use in the transfusion service and cell therapy lab. A case study using the FMEA model will be presented and discussed.
- Describe how risk assessment fits into the quality plan of the cellular therapy lab.
- List 3 risk assessment techniques that can be used in the transfusion medicine and cell therapy areas.
- Present a case using the FMEA model for risk analysis.
