Description
A wide variety of strategic planning tools and techniques are available. The speakers will outline different methods of strategic planning and discuss potential applications for when those tools may be used. The speakers will also highlight the strengths and challenges of each method.

  • Differentiate strategic planning tools such as Scenario Planning, SWOT Analysis, 5 Forces and SOAR and apply the most appropriate tool when conducting strategic planning.
  • Evaluate the most suitable tool to use given the situation in which the plan will be developed and utilized.
  • State the importance of strategic planning and the need to use the right tool(s) to create an effective strategic plan.
