Oral health care providers play a vital role in the intervention of methamphetamine abuse. Fifteen years of research and serving the needs of meth abusers has allowed Ms. Brandon-Kelsch to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and resources for health care providers.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Learn the signs, symptoms and effects of methamphetamine abuse
2. Understand the role of the dental team in intervention and treatment
3. Develop a treatment plan and office protocol for treating this population
