Medical emergencies can and do happen in dentistry. Dr. Malamed will review emergencies that happen and discuss the preparation of the dental office and staff to recognize and successfully treat them.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. List the five most common medical emergencies seen in the dental environment
2. List the four steps for preparation of the dental office and staff
3. List the seven drugs in the basic emergency drug kit
