Dr. Tanaka is a clinical professor in graduate prosthodontics and endodontics at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California and the director of restorative study groups in Hawaii and San Diego. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain.

Teaching Method: Lecture
Critical guidelines will be presented that apply to esthetic problems and problem patients. Valuable time-saving ideas and the roles of dental assistants and technicians will be emphasized in this team-oriented approach to problem-solving esthetic challenges.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand how the team can use the new Tanaka Clinical Examination Forms
2. Understand how masticatory function and anterior esthetics are related
3. Understand how to manage occlusal forces and select restorative materials
