Dr. Ramos is the Mentor and Chief of Prosthodontics for the 2- year Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry at Fort Hood where he teaches fixed and implant prosthodontics. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics and the editorial staff for Quintessence.

Teaching Method: Lecture
This course will teach the clinician basic to advanced techniques for optimizing esthetics with dental implants. The current scientific literature will be addressed relative to diagnosis, treatment planning and esthetic prognosis.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Learn to describe, utilize and develop esthetic risk assessment for dental implants
2. Learn space requirements for implants adjacent to natural teeth and adjacent implants
3. Learn techniques for optimizing gingival form around implant abutments
