Cone-beam CT technology offers 3-D visualization for dentistry. However, it is emerging as a diverse and complex technology. This course describes strategies of CBCT imaging and image reformatting for specific clinical applications.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand imaging strategies using cone-beam CT
2. Understand CBCT scanning parameters and the relationship with image quality
3. Apply knowledge of device settings, imaging and reformatting strategies
