ORAL CANCER: TECHNIQUES FOR PREVENTION AND EARLY INTERVENTION
Learn how you can play a role in preventing oral cancer. This course will teach the dental team how to identify patients at risk for oral cancer, and will present practical models for brief interventions in tobacco and alcohol users.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Screen patients for oral cancer risk factors
2. Implement oral cancer preventive strategies
3. Understand the use of medications for tobacco cessation

ORAL CANCER: SALIVA AS A DIAGNOSTIC TOOL
Learn about exciting new advances in the use of saliva for oral cancer screening and diagnosis. This program will explore the role of saliva in future dental and medical practice for rapid detection and screening of biomarkers of oral and systemic diseases.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Learn about a role for saliva in the diagnosis of oral cancer
2. Understand the research and technology behind salivary diagnostics
3. Learn how salivary diagnostics might affect future dental practice
