Dr. Gremillion is dean of the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and a professor in the Orthodontics Department. He formerly served as director of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Parker E. Mahan Facial Pain Center and has lectured worldwide in the field of orofacial pain.

Physiologic occlusal function is a key component in the long-term stability of the masticatory system. This course will explore the data that exists in an effort to clarify the role of occlusal factors in temporomandibular disorders.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand the effects of mechanical stress on the masticatory system
2. Recognize important differences between daytime and sleep bruxism
3. Develop a rational plan of management for sleep-related bruxism
