Learn detail applications of dental endoscopes for periodontal therapy & discuss state-of-the-art use of these devices for diagnosis/therapy. The long-term effects of a clean root surface produced using an endoscope on the progression of disease will also be detailed.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Identify landmarks seen when exploring the subgingival environment
2. Demonstrate two-handed closed subgingival scaling and curettage
3. Increase skills with minimally- invasive periodontal surgery
