He is the coordinator of Maxillofacial Rehabilitation Unit of UNIFESP, associated researcher of Gothenburg University, Sweeden and has 23 years of clinical exercise dealing with cancer patients.

Dr. Ozi is doing her masters degre in Stomatology at Universidade Paulista, School of Denistry in Brazil. She is current fellow of the Maxillofacial Rehabilitation Unit of UNIFESP in São Paulo. Her research focuses in oral cancer and maxillofacial rehabilitation.

Dr. Sperandeo has 25 years of clinical practice on Functional Jaw Orthopedics, wrote a book and has lectured nationally. She also has a Master Degree on Molecular and Functional Biology and is a PhD student at Campinas University, researching about long-term contextual memory.

The speakers presenting this course are the winners of the annual scientific contest at the Congresso Internacional de Odontologia de São Paulo (CIOSP) in São Paulo, Brazil. The CIOSP scientific competition welcomed more than 1,200 applications from all over Brazil.
This course will identify the possibilities of the employment of functional orthopedic devices through the view of neurophysiological principles in the treatments of morphological, functional and aesthetic Estomatogmatic System disbalances for both children and adults.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand long-term memory acquisition, consolidation and retrieval
2. Understand a general overview of FJO specialty and practical results achieved
3. Explain the neurophysiological principles of FJO devices actuation
