Visible-light-curing technology has advanced rapidly in the last several years. This course will review the basic principles of photo-polymerization and describe the various energy sources available for curing lights, with emphasis on newer light-emitting diode units.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand the basic mechanism of photopolymerization
2. Describe the various types of energy sources available
3. Distinguish the variables affecting successful polymerization
