Dr. Tanaka is a clinical professor in graduate prosthodontics and endodontics at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California and the director of restorative study groups in Hawaii and San Diego. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain.

Advanced problem-solving skills will be presented in this interactive course where the participants will learn and apply important esthetic guidelines. Clinical problems will be presented and participants will use treatment plan including imaging and study casts.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Learn the importance of facial growth and morphology in treatment planning
2. Learn how anterior tooth alignment is related to masticatory function
3. Learn how TMDs affect the selection of esthetic restorative materials
