In restorative practice clinicians must consider all functional aspects of the masticatory system. TMJ and occlusal diagnosis will be discussed in detail. Clinical cases will demonstrate the relationship between TMJ, occlusion and esthetic restorations.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand the anatomic and physiologic aspects of TMJ
2. Understand the relationship of occlusion to TMJ function and dysfunction
3. Achieve a predictable starting point for restorative dentistry
