Dr. Gremillion is dean of the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and a professor in the Orthodontics Department. He formerly served as director of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Parker E. Mahan Facial Pain Center and has lectured worldwide in the field of orofacial pain.

Diagnosis and management of TMDs have been subject to many misconceptions and much debate. Multiple factors are involved with the initiation and/or perpetuation of TMD. This course will emphasize the importance of individualization of care.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand current concepts of pain referral in the head and neck
2. Develop an individualized plan of care for TMD subgroups
3. Appreciate the importance of multidisciplinary care in the TMD population
