In recent times, esthetic dentistry seems to have taken precedence over principle centered, comprehensive restorative care. Dr. McDonald will discuss functional principles that define the parameters of esthetics and present a "toolbox" for esthetic diagnosis.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. List three functional principles that define the parameters of esthetics
2. Understand how function can affect tooth size, shape and position
3. Perform a laboratory diagnostic evaluation from clinical data

This course is underwritten by a grant from DENTSPLY International and presented in cooperation with the American Association of Women Dentists.
