This course will explore the additional skills needed to provide dental care to the pediatric patient. It will also improve the confidence of the doctor and staff and improve their rapport with the parent.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Respond to parents' questions regarding the first dental visit
2. Feel comfortable taking bitewing X-rays on 3- and 4-year-olds
3. Understand the need for and place SSCs on primary and permanent teeth
