Cases involving successful outcomes utilizing periodontal therapy are contrasted with cases deemed to have a poor prognosis and treated with extraction, socket preservation and ridge augmentation. Techniques, rationale and regenerative materials are discussed.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Review clinical findings for predictable periodontal outcomes
2. Review periodontal regenerative techniques and materials
3. Describe methods and materials utilized in ridge preservation and augmentation
