Review of the literature gives us biologic principles for clinical decisions on laser use, to be followed by detailed procedures for achieving superior results in: Initial Therapy, Gingivectomy, Frenectomy, Osseous Surgery and Guided Tissue Regeneration.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Use lasers for specific procedures in periodontics
2. Understand the biologic rationale for using lasers for periodontics
3. Select a wavelength appropriate for their specific practice
