Selected principles of nonsurgical and surgical therapies will be presented. The impact of periodontal therapies on reduction of risk for systemic diseases and conditions will be illuminated.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Discuss new pathways of periodontal disease progression
2. Develop accurate dental prognosis and outcomes
3. Update approaches for nonsurgical periodontal therapies
