Understanding the significance and extent of xylitol research provides participants with the data necessary to improve their own oral health, the oral health of their families and their patients. Xylitol can significantly improve oral health.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the science and clinical significance of xylitol research
2. Explain the benefits of xylitol use to patients
3. Describe strategies to incorporate xylitol into clinical practice

This course is underwritten by a grant from 3M ESPE Preventive Care.
