Developmental stages, the multiple factors that influence a child's behavior, and methods to engage and involve parents are presented. Potential problems are identified with specific recommendations to ensure more successful and less stressful visits for all.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand developmental stages for age-appropriate behavioral expectations
2. Identify, understand, direct and control various forms of behavior
3. Involve or separate parents while maintaining overall control and harmony
