This presentation will review the indications for bisphosphonate therapy and the rationale for its widespread use. The details of how this new disease entity was discovered will be examined along with the current guidelines for diagnosis and management.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Identify the clinical signs and symptoms of BRONJ
2. Assess the risk factors and prevention strategies related to BRONJ
3. Understand the treatment algorithms for patients who present with BRONJ
