Sound bytes are used successfully in advertising and can also be used to share cellular and scientific research findings about bleeding, bugs and bad breath. Giving the right information will trigger questions from patients, leading to disease prevention.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Present information in sound byte form that prompts questions from patients
2. Explain cell level changes associated with bleeding and periodontal disease
3. Use scientific sound bytes to comfortably discuss uncomfortable topics

This course is underwritten by a grant from 3M ESPE Preventive Care.
