Dr. Gremillion is dean of the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and a professor in the Orthodontics Department. He formerly served as director of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Parker E. Mahan Facial Pain Center and has lectured worldwide in the field of orofacial pain.

Differential diagnosis of orofacial pain is an extremely challenging aspect of dental practice. This course will review commonly occurring conditions that pose a diagnostic dilemma for the dental professional.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand basic pain mechanisms and pathways in the head and neck
2. Recognize orofacial pain conditions that may mimic odontogenic pain
3. Individualize treatment plans for orofacial pain on a case-specific basis
