One child per classroom may experience a traumatic dental injury. The primary care dentist needs to act quickly and skillfully. Triage treatment determines the prognosis.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Evaluate a traumatic injury by means of a step-by-step approach
2. Fully understand the healing process in children
3. List the necessary X-rays, clinical tests and specialist referrals needed
