This course will address the needs and concerns of those dentists who have begun incorporating dental sleep medicine into their practices and seriously want to advance their skills. Research, insurance coding, marketing and device design will be addressed.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand the latest research on oral appliance therapy
2. Understand the medical consequences of untreated sleep-disordered breathing
3. Understand medical-legal issues, insurance coding, and device design
