The speakers presenting this course are the winners of the annual scientific contest at the Congresso Internacional de Odontologia de São Paulo (CIOSP) in São Paulo, Brazil. The CIOSP scientific competition receives more than 1,000 applications from all over Brazil.
MAXILLOFACIAL PROSTHESIS: DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TECHNIQUES IN THE FACIAL REHABILITATION
Digital methods applied in the prosthetic rehabilitation of ocular and orbital defects had better esthetical results. These prostheses showed precision in the iris reproduction, anatomical details and geometric location.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Fabricate ocular prosthesis applying digital techniques to evaluate symmetry
2. Follow-up on patients with ocular prosthesis
3. Assessment of the symmetry of facial prosthesis sculpture
