Dr. Tanaka is a clinical professor in graduate prosthodontics and endodontics at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California and the director of restorative study groups in Hawaii and San Diego. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain.

This course will provide the essential skills required for diagnosing and managing patients with muscle and joint disorders(TMDs). New "Stretch and Spray" and practical "Splint Adjustment" techniques will be presented in this demonstration.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Triage TMD problems from other life-threatening disorders
2. Learn useful Stretch and Spray techniques to relieve muscle and joint pain
3. Determine which splints to use and how to adjust splints quickly and accurately
