Interactive workshop focuses on oral health literacy (OHL) and implications for dental practice, including effective communication by the dental team, ethical responsibilities and risk management. OHL is a function of patient skills and provider's ability to communicate clearly.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand the basic dimensions of OHL and implications for effective dental practice
2. Discuss the legal and risk management issues associated with clear communication
3. Learn practical skills to improve OHL and clear communication in the dental office
