This workshop will present everything a clinician needs to know when utilizing ultrasonic devices to treat periodontal disease. In-depth clinical instruction on the use and sequencing of a variety of ultrasonic inserts will be emphasized.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Differentiate between the various types of ultrasonic technologies
2. Describe the clinical protocols for patient, clinician and equipment preparation
3. Demonstrate the proper clinical ultrasonic instrumentation techniques
