Dental wear through attrition, abrasion and erosion can lead to extensive loss of tooth structure requiring lengthy and complex treatment. This course is intended to provide the general practitioner with the information needed to identify, treat and prevent dental wear.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Diagnose wear based on clinical presentation and history, and identify its cause
2. Develop preventive strategies for patients with dental wear
3. Develop treatment strategies for patients with advanced wear
